Job Description: In order to gain a full understanding/appreciation of what is required to operate a sports facility on a daily basis and in particular during events, this internship will assist with and operate daily activities in any area of ballpark operations as needed.
Qualifications:
? Bachelors degree in Sport Management or similar discipline
? Ability to work night and weekend events.
? Must have basic computer skills – MS Office.
? Strong communication and organizational skills.
? Must be enthusiastic with a desire to work hard and have fun.
? Must be a team player with leadership skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
? Instill the following into the fabric of our staff culture and overall stadium operations – communication, proactiveness,urgency, thoroughness, and professionalism.
? Spearhead and work closely with other departments and staff to improve the overall Stadium Appearance and Fan Experience (i.e. game – day inspections, capital improvements, and general upkeep).
? Understand and implement various facility budgets, and leverage these facility budgets to bring greater revenue generation.
? Proactively manage the overall service schedules and maintenance program for the entire facility to include: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security system, sound system, trash removal, and other components.
? Proactively manage other stadium elements to include: onsite and offsite storage, kids zone logistics, awnings, tents, and concourse tables.
? Coordinate ordering, and inventory of supplies, cleaning products, and stored goods.
? Hire and direct cleaning crew to produce the cleanest facility possible.
? Work with Fireworks Company on the implementation of our firework shows.
? Work closely and in cooperation with the Head Groundskeeper.
? Hire, train, and supervise Gameday employees in areas such as kid’s zone, ballpark cleaners, and grounds crew.

Job Description: Provide effective management and running of all F&B outlets, and bar areas. Including event planning support, scheduling, food prep and production, inventory and cash control compliance with alcohol service policies, employee training and development.

?Assist with supervision of concession stands, & portable stands, during every game.
?Participate in all aspects of daily food and beverage operations of the Stadium, primarily with baseball games but also with outside events such as private parties and other events.
?Position covers any and all pre-game and post-game planning and responsibility to having food and beverage operations perform at a satisfactory level.
?Provide sales reports to the Director, Food & Beverage for all events, and games.
?Help interview, train, and supervise all game-day employees.
?Help ensure compliance of health and safety standards in accordance with local, state and federal regulation.

Requirements: Completed four year college degree and have 2-3 years of Operations experience
Job Description:
-Will report directly to the Vice President of baseball operations
-Responsible for Stadium Operations for the new ballpark in Downtown Winston-Salem
-Cultivate relationships with all outside vendors and inspectors
-Recruiting, train and supervising game day staff
-Organize and direct game day meetings with our game day staff
-Oversee setup and operation of the kid’s zone
-Supervise Security and Medical services at the ballpark
-Oversee our Janitorial contractor’s services
-Assist with day to day maintenance of the ballpark
-Event planning, management, and follow-up
-Work all Winston-Salem Dash home games and stadium events
-Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors
- Represent the organization at business and community functions
Qualifications:
-Self-motivated
- Strong time management, multi-tasking and communication skills with the ability to meet deadlines and established goals.
- Willingness to contribute to a team environment.
- Strong background in customer service and sales experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills including Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
- Extended hours of work between the months of March and September
