As a Ticket Operations Assistant with the Staten Island Yankees, you will be exposed to the many daily intricacies of the ticket office in preparation for the 2010 season.
THREE OUT OF FOUR DOESN’T WORK
We figure that you don't have the skill set to be a president right now. However, if president is your target, you need to answer 'yes' to each one of these three questions:
1. Do I have a strong work ethic?
2. Do I have a powerful desire to learn?
3. Are you a highly motivated student looking for a position that allows you to use your own abilities combined with second to none in-depth training?
4. Will I get that in-depth training on my next job, allowing me to make a positive step to my career target?
QUALIFICATIONS
Did you answer yes to the first three questions above? If you do, we can answer the fourth question for you. Yes, you will get unsurpassed training that will be giant steps in reaching your career goal. We strongly prefer graduate students, but if you’re an undergrad, recent grad or other and you’re the next budding superstar we would be happy to consider you for this position.
Answered yes to all four, you qualify. Now you have to take action; you have to apply.
WHAT ARE THE HOURS?
The hours during the offseason will be limited to 20 hours a week. Once the season starts, this will become a full time position. This will require you to work all games and events held at the Richmond County Bank Ballpark during the 2010 season.
CAN I RECEIVE COLLEGE CREDIT?
Yes, we are willing to allow you to use this position as an internship.
HOW MUCH WILL YOU MAKE?
This position’s compensation will contain an aggressive monthly stipend competitive with any internship you’ll find in the sports market place across the country. The stipend will vary from the hours you will work in the offseason, and the hours you will work during the season.
